The Eighth International World Wide Web Conference -- a four day forum featuring research, technology, application innovations, societal issues, governmental issues, product offerings, services, and market potential -- will provide a venue for discussions and demonstrations of the pressing issues and hottest topics concerning the Web.  The conference will consist of refereed paper sessions, poster and panel sessions, keynote and invited speakers, a W3C track, an industrial track, tutorials, workshops, and a developers day where the most recent technology developments will be discussed.

Tutorials and Workshops

A program of tutorials and workshops will cover current topics and issues such as the design of Web sites, multimedia interfaces, Web GUIs, security, authentication and Web protocols.  These half and full day sessions will feature internationally recognized authorities who are also well-grounded in the practical realities of the every-day world.

Developer's Day

The day-long program will be devoted to the interests of Web developers, providing in-depth discussions of topics at the forefront of interesting new Web technologies.
